My dear friend Rowland. How I wish I had known thee. See Rowland's "Painting Landscapes in Watercolor" for this demonstration. Rowland was born in England but came to the states as a youth for a few years. When he returned to England in 1915 at age 10 his family embarked on the "Lusitania." That was the last voyage the Lusitania made before being sunk by the Germans.
